Yukito

Yukito is essentially the "energy-saving" form for Yue. As Yukito he can walk around as a relatively normal-looking human being rather than the mystical creature Clow Reed created him as. At first Yukito was unaware of his other self and was incapable of transforming unless absolutely required (aka once Sakura had collected all of the Clow Cards). Even then he still didn't know about the double life he was leading, often thinking he passed out. However, he is now aware of Yue and can even transform whenever he needs to. This does not mean that Yukito is aware of what happens when he becomes Yue and must be told if he's to know as well.

He is exceptionally skilled at wielding a bow-and-arrow - a talent that filtered through from Yue and even as Yukito he tends to draw people to him whose powers may run on the "yin" (dark or moon) of the yin and yang belief. Most may feel as if there's a warm fuzzy feeling in their chest if this is the case. He's good at a lot of the things he puts his mind to such as cutting hair or working a few odd jobs, though can be clumsy when it comes to athletics.

Yue

With his large wings, Yue is obviously capable of flight - also able to carry another person his size or smaller but that is not all. If necessary he can hide these wings to allow for there to be more room in a small space. He can create barriers or shields out of energy that (canonly) can only be broken by Sakura or Clow, though if hammered at enough by cross-canon magic will fail at some point. For offensive magic, he gathers energy in the shape of crystal shards and they become projectiles that are sharp like icicles but not so easy to break. Seeing as how he is the "moon" in comparison to Cerberus' "sun", he creates various weapons out of moonlight such as a bow and arrows that he is extremely proficient at using with deadly accuracy. Yue does not need to eat or drink when in this form, although Yukito tends to eat enough for the both of them.

While Yukito does not know of the events that happen when he's Yue, Yue is aware of the events that transpire when he's Yukito seeing as how Yue is the true form. This allows for him to not need things repeated when he learns information when parading around as Yukito and helps should the need for transformation arise. Since he is a creature born from magic, he can sense the magic in others and even in objects. Once Yue has sensed a magic once then he will be able to identify it again even if it is quite a distance away. Just because he might be capable of sensing it, he won't necessarily know who it belongs to unless actually faced with that individual. Of course if someone has strong magic they may be able to hide themselves from him entirely.

Once upon a time, Sakura did not have the magical strength to support Yue (and Yukito)'s life. As someone who's powers relate to the moon, he must draw on magic from his master much as the moon draws light from the sun. If that magic weren't enough, Yue and Yukito both would fade from existence. However Yue can get magic from another individual - particularly someone who's magic is similar to Sakura's or even Clow Reed's. He did this once upon a time with Sakura's older brother, taking Touya's magical ability in exchange for protecting Sakura.

Less than half of Sakura's Cards are under his protection and in the absence of their Mistress, he can control or manipulate these cards to whatever he may need them for. They typically cannot be used against him or he can simple negate the effects they should have on him. Of course, his own powers are strongest under a full moon and when he's at his strongest - so are the half of the Sakura Cards that are under his protection. On top of all that, Yue can lend his powers to Sakura - to her staff as shown when he and Cerberus entered it in order for Sakura to change both the Light and Dark Cards at the same time. AU NAME: Yukito Tsukishiro | Yue
AU AGE: 19
PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES: His hair is a pale blond color and when he becomes "Yue" does not undergo physical transformations (ex. longer hair, wings) but his eyes do change from an amber color to a light blue when Yue's personality is awake.

AU HISTORY:

» Born to a Japanese father and an English mother in a small town in Japan on December 25th.
» Almost a year after his birth, his parents died in a car crash while he was with a babysitter.
» His maternal grandparents were granted custody (as his pateneral grandparents were deceased) and he lived in London until he was four.
» Then his grandparents bought a place in the British countryside to retire in and the three of them moved there together.
» Yukito grew up in Whitby and often took on many odd jobs from having lemonade stands when younger, to being a camp counselor as a young teen or helping people with chores.
» When he was thirteen, his grandparents started traveling during summer vacation while Yukito worked or went to camp.
» When he was fifteen they started traveling during the school year as well, having one of their neighbors check on Yukito often.
» It was when he was sixteen that they realized Yukito had DID (dissociative identity disorder). A personality who called himself Yue who was quite different from Yukito would appear on rare occasions.
» Therapy sessions revealed that Yukito was not aware of Yue and that Yue believed himself to be a magical being with supernatural abilities. Yue also revealed he was a great deal older than Yukito and knew everything that happened to Yukito.
» During the summer of his sixteenth year, Yukito starts "waking up" in places he can't remember going to and his grandparents tell him about his split personality.
» Together the three of them decide that he's to go live in Recolle and seek treatment there. His grandparents set him up in an apartment, a new therapist and a new school.
» Yukito starts his junior year of high school in Recolle while his grandparents are often out travelling.
» During his first year in Recolle, he met a guy named Touya and became friends with him.
» On occasion his grandparents would visit but they talked on the phone a lot.
» He worked odd jobs while keeping his grades up and also attending archery club, consistantly goes to his therapy sessions.
» During senior year, Yue began taking over more and more. This was typically at night and always on full moon nights.
» Yukito graduated high school with excellent grades despite Yue going out to late-night clubs or would wander the streets as though in search of something.
» Decided to stay in Recolle for college and that his major would be Astronomy.
» Sometimes helps out other sports teams when they're short a member.
